Swedish – a lighter touch that includes long, gliding strokes, kneading, and can incorporate light stretching when needed. This technique is beneficial for relaxation, reducing muscle soreness and tension, increased blood flow and lymphatic drainage, as well as improving immune function and promoting deeper rest. It is a known complement to traditional Western medicine and can be highly effective in reducing symptoms associated with chronic illness such as cancer, depression, insomnia.

Deep tissue – a focused, deeper level of muscle work that involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It is used to treat muscle and tendon injuries, pain, and stiffness in your major muscle groups and joints.

Hot Stones – this unique therapy, using stones formed by sedimentary and volcanic action, is an effective and extremely relaxing modality that involves placing stones on various comfortable areas of the body as well as lightly gliding along the muscles. The thermal conduction effect of the warm stones, coupled with the application of mindful hands, bring about local and systemic changes in the body and can positively influence the energy centers for body and mind balancing to promote a number of benefits, including deeper rest. Some of the beneficial physiological changes to the body are increased blood and lymph flow to expediate waste removal, increased cell metabolism and oxygen flow. It can also aid in detoxification and pain caused by autoimmune disorders such as Fibromyalgia.
